AI DISCLOSURE BY THE AUTHOR/S

 

Journal of Solid Waste Technology and Management’s, policy in ISWMAW concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in manuscripts is as follows.

 

While JSWTM does not encourage or permit the use of AI-generated content, AI-assisted tools may be used for language refinement and structuring. To ensure transparency, authors are required to select the statement that best represents their use of AI tools in the writing process, as given below. The selected statement will be footnoted in the chapter.

The authors may note that, in case, even at the final stage of publication, it is found that the article has AI-generated contents and has been developed using AI-generated tools, the articles may be rejected for publication.

 

□ Statement 1: No use of AI Assistance

The author confirms that no artificial intelligence (AI)-generated content or AI-assisted writing

tools were used in the preparation of these manuscripts (including summaries and the abstract). All text,

analysis, and conclusions are the result of the author’s original work.

 

□ Statement 2: Minimal use of AI Assistance for Language and Style

The author acknowledges the use of AI-based tools for minor language editing or grammatical correction. However, all intellectual contributions, analyses, and conclusions presented in these manuscripts are entirely the author’s own.
